Unable to register over 3G

Solution

If you get an error when registering over 3G or Edge, but have no problems over Wi-Fi, your cellular provider may block or mishandle SIP or UDP traffic. If your provider supports tls, you can try changing the transport protocol to tls.

If you still have an issue, disable the proxy and send us a SIP Log. From the keypad, tap on settings, then preferences. Turn Log SIP Traffic on. Tap done, then restart the Softphone (or Groundwire). Wait for the registration to fail. Go back to settings and tap on SIP Log. Tap on Send to Acrobits and include your name in the note. Then submit a ticket so we can review it. Be sure to mention in the ticket that you have gone through the steps in this article.
